Tokenomics

TRUE is a multi-function utility token in Truemarkets as well as its enshrined oracle.

Token functions:

• controls protocol fees

• governs Truemarkets, its branding and domain

• source of economic subjectivity in dispute resolution

• governs oracle configurations

This multi-utility approach ensures that the security of the oracle scales with the success of the application and that the economics of the app are in harmony with that of the oracle.

Distribution

The total supply of TRUE is 100 Million, with the following genesis distribution:

40.3% - Patron NFT holders

The largest allocatin of the TRUE supply will be disributed to our Patron NFT holders.

• 15071 Oracle Patron NFTs

• 59 Truth Seeker Patron NFTs

2.2% - Airdrop

• Genesis Attesters

• Truemarkets Beta-phase users

• Polymarket discord users (between January 1st 2024 and October 16 2024)

7.5% - Prediction market incentives

7.5% of the total supply will be used to incentivize YES and NO liquidity.

12.5% - TRUE/ETH incentives

To satisfy the need for liquidity, 12.5% of the supply will be distributed to TRUE/ETH LPs on Base over two years.

12.5% - Oracle incentives

12.5% of the total supply is dedicated to Oracle liveness incentives:

• autonomous dispute / resolution

• Attester lottery system

• TRUE stakers

25% - Team and Advisors

25% of the supply will be distributed to the Truemarkets team and advisors. This allocation will be linearly vested over two years.
